CPD is a social enterprise of The Children's Centre. A social enterprise is a business that makes use of the skills and knowledge that exist within a charity, to generate income for charitable projects.
Learning and development is a core value of The Children's Centre. This value applies to the work the charity undertakes externally in relation to its clients (i.e children, young people and families on the Isle of Man) as well as internally for its own staff.
CPD enables The Children's Centre to develop best practice with the broader business community, using experiential programmes and more traditonal classroom based courses as a framework for learning.
