John Knight, Chief Executive Officer

John graduated in Sports Studies and his post graduate qualifications include Fellowship of Chartered Management Institute and a Diploma in Management, as well as a broad range of outdoor education certificates. John is currently studying for an MBA in Leadership and Management through Strathclyde University. 

John started his career with the Newcastle Children's Adventure Group and then spent 15 years developing outdoor education projects in the North East, latterly as Director of Mobex North East. John came to the Island in 2000 as the Chief Executive of The Children's Cetre and has developed the charity so that it now provides services to the community from 13 different site and employs more than 140 staff.
