A small team from a local IT company undertook an afternoon of challenging team building events that would encourage team members to have some fun time together in an informal setting to look at team dynamics.
Team work is a fundamental part of the IT world. It's the knowledge of all not just one that makes the difference. By taking time out from our day to day problems, I was able to undertake an afternoon course with CPD with all our staff.
The team building afternoon highlighted staff members' strengths as well as weaknesses. It has given me an insight that I wouldn't normally see in their day to day activities. I can now build on these strengths and help out with their weaknesses, to make my company grow.
Everyone enjoyed the experience and I will definitely be organising another.
